Abstract

In India, after completing the secondary education, the students are required to choose any one stream out of the three main streams, i.e., science, commerce and humanities. The streams are a combination of various subjects offered under a broad category. The streams are further categorized into two fold- academic and vocational. Thus, the higher secondary education is an important step in the educational ladder as it enables the students to aspire for education and for future employment opportunities. Hence, it is a crucial stage that shapes and directs a child’s future.
