Evaluating the Effects of the “Introduction to Design Thinking” Course to First-Year Engineering Students at the Higher Colleges of Technology
As part of HCT’s innovation process, a course titled “Introduction to Design Thinking” has been introduced to the first-year engineering students to impart robust critical thinking, innovation, and perception skills at an early point in their higher education. Given the thoughtful and involving nature of critical thinking and innovation, the introduction of the new course is bound to enhance the performance of the first-year engineering students at the University. This study is done to conduct an insightful evaluation of the effects of the introduction of the new course to the students.
