Abstract

For reasons and motivations ranging from program management to the attainment or maintenance of regional or external accreditation, considerable increased attention and energy continues to be devoted to the Assessment of Learning (AOL) in graduate and undergraduate academic programs of business education. We provide a typology identifying and describing the most widely utilized methods, critically summarize empirical analysis of the validity and reliability of each of the methods along with a comparison of their relative efficacy and cost (in time and resources).
