Ecocritical Educational Experiences with Pre-service Teachers
Cultural Studies have promoted a change of direction in the critical-literary currents by incorporating a practical and social purpose into propaedeutic analyses. The process of broadening the corpus of study by adding works belonging to other artistic spheres, such as cinema in particular, and new receptive audiences (no longer only educated sectors) has been shown as an extraordinary critical enrichment, which has materialized in various thriving disciplines. This pragmatism is precisely what foes through the current of the Ecocriticism, that not only states the environmental problems in cultural products; but rather, it is an exercise of reflection and awareness.
