Educating educators is not an easy task. There are teachers who have very strong ideals regarding teaching and what they assume they know. Reason why, The MEP along with the UNA collaborate to put into practice a program where proficient teachers of English help other educators improve their linguistic skills and performance in order to succeed when taking the TOEIC, which is a mandatory test for teachers who aspire to work in a public school or high school in Costa Rica.
