Blockchain technology aims to revolutionize processes in terms of authentication and validation. Its proof of work and proof of stake concepts allows stakeholders of various entities to work together in a trusted environment where individuals and businesses can collaborate in a multi-step traceability space leveraging various platforms. Demand for blockchain knowledge and skills are increasingly becoming in high demand as companies compete for blockchain talent, specifically in technology, finance, and healthcare fields. In this workshop, we will explore the impact of blockchain technology and its disruption to a shared knowledge economy. We will also explore how various types of business partnerships can benefit from student led projects using case studies, research and capstone projects utilizing blockchain as a catalyst to reinvent organizational processes to improve market and operational inefficiencies.
