Role playing is an effective teaching tool to illustrate a business decision-making process. This paper highlights the value of an assignment using role playing as a tool to further develop critical thinking skills while enriching the student learning experience. The author will share a class assignment that provided students an opportunity to simulate the role of a company’s human resources manager to examine the legal and ethical issues surrounding current public policy.
