Abstract

This research investigated the effect of internship as an entrepreneurial learning factor. Survey research design was adopted. The study consisted of a population of 22,282 fourth year students of the federal universities in South-West, Nigeria. Stratified random sampling technique and structured questionnaire with 6-point ratio scale were used for data collection. A sample size of 1673 was also used in the study. The study found that internship as an entrepreneurial learning factor had a significant effect on attitude towards entrepreneurship (R2 =0.194, t(1671) =20.043, ? = 0.829, p<0.05) among students of federal universities in South-West, Nigeria. The study concluded that internship had positive significant effect on attitude towards entrepreneurship among students at federal universities in South-West, Nigeria.it has been therefore recommended that to promote favourable attitude towards entrepreneurship, exposure of undergraduates to entrepreneurship internship should be given a high priority by the universities, government, policy makers and the society.
