The goal of this research work is to propose a fast and accurate facial recognition security system using luxand facesdk. Facial authentication verification is one of the most reliable method of personal identification verification in biometric. With the vast development of facial recognition verification, a number of its application has been proposed before now. In this work, luxand face-sdk uses multiple processor cores to speed up recognition which detects 66 facial feature points that can be assessed by their names in the FSDK-feature array. It is a dynamic link library available for 32-bits and 64-bits windows and linux OS which makes it a robust choice for this work. The face image is captured from camera using the luxand face-sdk and stored in the database against the person’s profile. To access the system, the face image is retrieve from the database and compare with that of the person trying to gain access to the system at a particular instance.
