In recent years, Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology has increasingly become the research focus and application tendency of the architecture, engineering and construction industry. In this paper, we research the mapping method between BIM data and engineering quantity calculation rule in China, based on BIM secondary development. This paper also proposes a computational accuracy analysis method based on statistical parameters. Engineering practice shows the suggested method provides an effective exploration and practice for the direct application of BIM data to engineering quantity calculation.
