Abstract

Didactic methods regarding language and interaction in Swedish special schools (Interteach) is a national study, which gives teachers in special schools the opportunity to share their knowledge on education regarding pupils with neuropsychiatric disorders, especially pupils with autism spectrum condition (ASC). Research on didactic methods in special schools is rare, both in Sweden and worldwide [1]. Predominantly, studies on children with ASC are performed within medicine and psychology, but more research is needed within special school education in order to investigate to what extent the various didactic methods are used in Sweden.
