This paper describes original programs for the course of computer simulation. I adopted the Java and Processing 3 for the development of simulation programs since their possibility in GUI and visualization functions. The result revealed that the Processing 3 exceeded all expectations. The “Fisica” library for Processing functioned beyond expectations. Finally, the “Brachistochrone problem” was discussed as variational problems. The results were compared among the theoretical solution, the numerical approximate solution using piecewise function, and the solution by “Fisica”.
