Abstract

The author makes the case that Latin language learning ought to be more accessible to students of color and students in under-resourced schools. Negative attitudes toward Latin are countered and followed by a systematic review of evidence that Latin learning is beneficial to K-12 students. The author offers suggestions for administrators wishing to bring Latin to their schools at low cost.
