Abstract

Students in regular in-person education are not familiarized with personalization in class. They are not used to learner’s agency, self-paced learning, or learner-driven learning. All these facets of personalized learning boost students’ freedom and accountability. Since they are the leading player in their learning process, their opinions on the new practices in class give us an idea of how successful is personalization of learning and up to what point they are a good fit with this methodology.
