Digital transformation helps the government rise to success and sustainable. Private cloud computing is an accessible technology to manage the government data center with more benefits than traditional computing and facilitates the government to be the digital transformation. This work includes the suggestion of cloud service architectures, strategies for selecting a cloud environment, and a recommended private cloud computing solution for transforming the government. This paper proposes the lessons learned for the organization in order to achieve
a successful migration from the traditional organization’s data center towards a cloud-based data center.
