In recent past, technology has enabled the sharing of data by data transmission over the communication network. As the information is confidential that can be theft and changed hence, the data transmission demands the data integrity and security. The encryption techniques are proposed to ensure security and integrity of the data transmission over the network. The data of multimedia on the servers is facing exponential increase days hence, security is evolving towards a big concern for researchers and communication industry. The data encryption algorithms are costly as well as they carry extra overheads. Whereas, it is challenging to deploy them in a small environment. Certainly, it is necessity of future to have methods that can operate in small environments in combination with large-scale encryption method, exclusively. In this work, we have proposed a novel method based on Advance Encryption Standard (AES) and Data Encryption Standard (DES) to overcome the above mentioned limitations in previous methods. The results display that the proposal is much more secure with less overheads.
