Due to the resource depletion and environmental pollution, there is an important issue in alternative energy sources around the world. In particular, demand for photovoltaic (PV) systems with high potential is rapidly increasing. Accordingly, it is important to propose the optimal design of PV system for the maximum electricity generation. Therefore, this study aims to develop a smart PV blind system which can be easily applied to buildings for preventing the heat coming into the indoor space and generating electricity at the same time as a building integrated PV system.
