Ours is a globalized world where natural resources are being destroyed at a fast speed, with governments complacent to benefit multinational companies and their own interests. For this reason, teachers and educational systems in general have a crucial work in forming citizens conscious of the need of keeping resources and tackling sustainability challenges that have to be faced now for present and future generations. Superior education programs have to consider that imperious need in the formation of teachers. Original, imaginative, research projects have to be developed in order to face such a need.
