Nature of knowledge organization work has changed in the digital environment requiring changes in contents, structure, and placement of
courses in the information studies curricula. Faculty views were sought on relevant issues through participation in a web-based survey. The findings help suggest appropriate strategies for proper integration of knowledge organization topics for building competencies required for information professionals to be responsive to the needs of the digital environment.
