Abstract

In this paper, the researcher aims to present the Special Education and Inclusion movements in Turkey starting from integration to inclusive education. Focus will be on how the scope of these provisions has changed over the time. Almost six decades later, the researcher will try to answer why it is taking long time to meet the needs of inclusive education and to supply the necessary provisions.
