Abstract

The study aimed to investigate the relationship between school climate and teachers job performance in Secondary Schools. To achieve this
purpose, quantitative approach was selected and correlational method was used. The population of the study included all the male and female teachers of secondary schools in the Lahore district. The 270 teachers were selected randomly from 27 schools. The self-developed questionnaire related school climate and teachers job performance was used to collect data from the respondents. The questionnaire consisted of three parts: First part was about the demographic information of the teachers. Second part based on school climate and the third part consisted of the teacher’s job performance. The researchers visited the schools and collected the data after taking permission from school principals. The data were analyzed by using different descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings revealed that there was a significant strong positive relationship between school climate and teachers job performance. On the basis of findings, it is recommended that school heads should improve the school climate for the enhancement of the teacher’s job performance. There may create positive and warm environment for teachers in educational institutions.
