Funding dearth in higher education institutions is a global phenomenon and in Pakistan this issue needs more focused attention because fundraising is a new phenomenon for the existing system of Pakistani higher education institutions (HEIs). Fundraising is one of the Research areas which remained unexplored in case of Pakistan and this qualitative research study is first in nature in this regard. This scientific study has brought in focus the fundraising perspectives of the Vice Chancellor in public university at City of Abbottabad, Pakistan.
