Understanding Conceptualizations of Transfer of Learning within and across Disciplines
This qualitative research study aimed at exploring and understanding the existing conceptualization of transfer of learning held by 11 researchers working in the areas of education, psychology, neuroscience, and business in a private university in the northeast of the USA. The second objective of this study was to understand how those views related to the researchers’ instructional practices.
