Abstract

Technology among pre-service physics teachers in a Nigerian University. Survey design was utilised. 67 Physics Education Undergraduates
served as sample. Two (2) research questions and one null hypothesis guided the study. Questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.77 was the instrument of data collection. Mean and Chisquare statistic were used for This study investigated the knowledge of Information and Communication data analysis. Results show that the students only have competencies for Downloading from the internet, using the E-mail, Chatting online and use of Microsoft Word. Chisquare analysis showed a non significant difference in the male and female students’ knowledge of ICT. Recommendations were made one of which was the need for trainings and workshops on useful ICTs and basic computer operations to be organised by University administration for students.
