Abstract

Pros, cons and best practices were determined for the use of wobble stool seating and sound field amplification systems by a three-month study with twelve secondary school classes. Through surveys and observations of almost 200 grade 9 and grade 10 students of various levels and subjects and their twelve teachers, having the option of a few wobble stools per class for student choice of seating and using sound fields for math and French classes was the best use of these tools. Caution should be taken before purchasing these tools on a wide scale.
