Abstract

Teachers can have a great influence on adolescents’ eating behaviours. Based on qualitative research conducted in schools in neighbourhoods of different socioeconomic status in Madrid and Bilbao, we analysed the teachers’ discourses to determine the eating habits of adolescents inside and outside the schools and the specific actions teachers carry out to influence the acquisition of healthy habits during adolescence.
