Abstract

Childhood obesity is a rising concern in Kuwait and neighboring countries, influenced by children’s eating habits shaped by parental food parenting styles (FPS) and practices (FPP). This study aims to explore FPS and FPP prevalence among Kuwaiti mothers with school-age kids, accounting for demographic factors. It also investigates feeding dynamics in multigenerational households, independent households, and weekly family gatherings.
