Abstract

The goal of this research is to discover ways in which ungraded evaluation structures influence students’ sense of their own agency for learning. The concept of student agency is based on the principle that students have the ability and the will to positively influence their own lives and the world around them. Student agency includes the capacity to set goals, reflect on learning, and act responsibly in the pursuit of that goal.
