Abstract

In this investigation, the damped KdV-Burgers equation and the forced damped nonplanar (cylindrical and spherical) KdV-Burgers equation are solved using the ansatz method. Based on this approach, generic formulas for semi-analytical approximations are derived. Utilizing the obtained approximations, we obtain dissipative shock wave (ShW) solutions for both the damped KdVB equation and the forced damped nonplanar KdVB equation. All the obtained approximations can assist numerous researchers interested in investigating intricate nonlinear phenomena in the realms of plasma physics and fluid mechanics.
