Abstract

Inclusive competence, indicated by the Recommendation of the Council of the European Union of 22 May 2018 on key skills for lifelong learning, must be integrated into the structuring of the different curricula, for the development of a culture that has the well-being of the student as its objective, in a holistic training framework. The topic of twentieth-century art history was chosen because the works of this historical period represent the success of that creative and open-minded approach necessary for the development of a culture of inclusion, capable of opening up to discussion with each other in a constructive manner. The proposal starts from considerations on the lack, up to now in the Italian context, of a defined and standardized program for the structuring of emotional education. In fact, it is only in May 2022, with law 2782, that the debate on education and training in Italy led to an experiment in this sense, even if only on a voluntary and optional basis.
