Abstract

This paper provides an account of a collaborative undertaking to develop a pioneering guidance framework in higher education. A multi-disciplinary team of academic and professional services staff developed a research-informed quality framework for learning spaces within Munster Technological University (MTU). The resultant framework serves as a tangible guide for university leaders to engage stakeholders effectively in the planning and design of learning spaces, emphasises the significance of the process and offers insights for other institutions seeking to establish similar practice frameworks.
