The contemporary workplace environment is fraught with complex security issues, which today have become exacerbated by AI interventions. But, while these threats posed by AI misuse have been well documented, there are already mitigations in place to help prevent attacks. Cybersecurity professionals have had to quickly pivot to the nature and pace of change in their field as a matter of practice. This talk will focus upon the current attacks that have plagued the workplace, the mitigations in place, the advantages and disadvantages of AI in cybersecurity.
