Abstract

In this paper, we propose an access control model for a student registration system using role-based access control (RBAC). The model includes three levels of access: student, staff, and administrator, each with specific roles and permissions. Tests and simulations using a prototype system demonstrated the model's effectiveness in regulating access, preventing unauthorized access, and ensuring data confidentiality, integrity, and availability. This model provides a flexible and robust mechanism for managing access to sensitive information, making it a valuable foundation for developing secure registration systems in educational institutions.
