Abstract

Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of position information is vital in connected vehicles and intelligent transportation systems. Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs) rely heavily on precise vehicle positioning for safe and efficient vehicle-to-vehicle(V2V) communication. However, the high level of connectivity in VANETs makes them susceptible to various cyber-attacks, notably false position attacks, where malicious entities disseminate incorrect position information. Identifying and mitigating such threats is crucial for maintaining cyber resilience and network security in connected environments.
