Abstract

Assessing vocabulary skills is a crucial aspect of educational interventions for students with disabilities, as it directly influences their academic progress and overall communication abilities. This study aims to explore the satisfaction levels of special education specialists regarding the vocabulary assessment tools used for students with disabilities. By understanding the perspectives and experiences of these professionals, valuable insights can be gained to enhance the assessment process and improve instructional practices. A survey questionnaire was used to collect data. Responses from 375 special education specialists within the interdisciplinary field of special education were reported. The study’s findings reveal that participants in the private sector have high satisfaction and a greater ability to apply vocabulary assessment compared to participants in the public sector. Additionally, the results of the study show that participants specializing in speech and language disorders have high satisfaction compared to other specializations.
