Abstract

This study investigates the determinants of university students’ green entrepreneurial mindset, focusing on the roles of education, motivation, self-efficacy, and entrepreneurial support. Drawing upon the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), quantitative data were collected through an online survey of university students (n=289). Results reveal positive associations between entrepreneurial education, motivation, self-efficacy, and intention, highlighting the mediating and moderating effects of entrepreneurial support. The study contributes to the literature by providing empirical evidence of the factors influencing green entrepreneurial mindset formation among students. Practically, it informs educational institutions, policymakers, and stakeholders about the importance of integrating sustainability principles into entrepreneurship education and developing tailored support mechanisms to foster environmentally responsible entrepreneurship. These insights pave the way for enhanced educational practices and policies aimed at nurturing a new generation of green entrepreneurs committed to environmental sustainability.
